Default Trail boss starts fine but when revved bogs

My 1990 trail boss 350l 2x4 starts and idles fine but when you go to rev it up it bogs! It will not move! I just cleaned and rebuilt the carb and jets, put in new air filter, and added new gas. After I put it all back together i still had the same problem. I then checked for a vacuum leak and that came up as a negative as well! I'm stumped. It ran absolutely perfect then I loaded it up on the trailer to take home from the cottage and it hasn't ran right since! Please give me any advice!! This is my first Atv and I've only rode it for aprox 6 hrs! I don't want this to ruin my Atv experiance! Please help thanks!

Welcome you can try first unplugging the black wire from the reverse limiter module going to the circuit board. These modules can fail and cause problems. Remove the tank cover and side pieces and circuit board is on the left side. Black kill wire from the cdi and limiter module wire are plugged in at the top. See if this help. If no change, then could be clutches or belt problem. OPT

I will try that do you think that the reason it's bogging is because it's getting to much air flow or not enough air? When it's idling I tried to open the choke as mentioned in other threads, when doing this it practically died on me? I'm not sure what this means?
Thanks

AS long as you have the stock air box and filter, at idle if you pull the choke it should try to die. This shows at least the choke circuit is ok. If you rebuilt the carb with a new needle and seat, jets, etc, plus air screw is about 2 turns out,you can eliminate the carb. Low compression (120 or lower),crank seals leaking, etc can also be the cause. You just have to eliminate one thing at a time especially on a 22 year old atv.. OPT
