Smile Help!!! Buying a sport quad

Hey guys... im new to this whole ATV thing.. i love riding in the few times i've been on some friends. Whats the best to start out with when you like the power and want to be able to ride smaller trails but then the ability to keep up with your friends in the open area when the oppurtunity comes. i would like reverse or something i can move if i have too.. i only weigh 115 pounds. Im looking for a used one nothing brand new as i dont have a ton of money but want the best for my dollar.. Id like something that will last and i wont get sick of. suggestions of any kind are helpfull!!

If you're handy Warriors are pretty cheap, but they're notorious for a couple of problems, chief among them being bad rear carrier bearings/ carrier housings. If you don't mind the upkeep, they're pretty quick, fun to ride, and somewhat reliable.

400 class or better to "keep up" in the open. Trails are where most of the fun is though, and something like a 300EX or Warrior will be pretty cheap to buy and maintain.

the 300ex or the warrior/raptor 350 would be great to start on. their great on trails and if you feel they are sluggish after you get used to them, you can always throw on aftermarket parts to make it a little more peppy. a 400 would be better to grow into tho i would not suggest going with a large bore sport quad if you have little experience. if you can get a 400 then you shouldnt get tired of it anytime soon. with your size a 250ex or z250 might fit your size better but im sure it would feel under powered after a few rides.
