How come the dealer tells me that i have to buy a whole new throttle control appox. $110.00. When all i need to replace is the throttle stop my guess is this piece cost a whole .25 cents to make. Why don't they make a rebuild kit so that i can replace what is broken 95' scrambler

 

Find someone who changed to a twist throttle.

 

I think I might have one will have to check. But if you want a better one the the old one's you can get the new plastic one they wil say it dose not work with the cable you have but all you have to do is thread in youcable adjuster into the plastic I have one on my 95TB an works great much better then the meatle one's.

 

RUVY just left another dealership he has 3 brand new ones in stock so he decided to part one out. He only chared me $5.00 for the part. hell've lot cheaper then buying a whole new one. Other then that I was going to switch to a twist throttle. THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE
