I have looked for hours online, and can't find the stock specs. I have found several aftermarket camshafts, but since I don't know the stock specs I can't compare them.

I would appreciate it if anyone knows the stock specifications on a 2000 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4. I need the lift and duration specs.

hi RandyD. i don't know if this helps but i have a service manual in PDF format for a
YFM400FAR witch is a 2003 Kodiak 400 4x4.i looked up the part # of your cam (5GH-12171-00-00) and it's the same as the one for the 2003.i don't know what to look for in the specification chart.don't see no lift and duration but there are plenty of numbers .the file is 14 MB and i can email it to you if you are interested in looking at it.my email is heikoboehm@centurylink.net and put Kodiak in the subject line.
