My buddy broke the ring and pinion gear,(in the tranny in back) for the front drive on his 99. Anybody have any tips or tricks for me cause its coming out satarday. And he would like to use it april first for the ride at nemadji, so he has a week to get it fixed!!!
Also does the clutch use the same puller as the sleds. And once its out he has to decide if its getting done by me or if its going to the dealer. Anybody had one apart yet cause all I have is the man for my HO. I'd like him to have the dealer do it but he's short on money and time.

 

Well it took about 2.5 hours to get it almost out. And because I dont know where my clutch puller is at the rest will happen sat morning or this morning as it is already saterday

 

I have a front gearcase tha twill fit new never used Email me and i will ship it to you ups it fits the sp 500 there 330.00 new at the dealer And mine is alot cheaper. Email me back.

When you say gearcase what part are you refering to, because he should need just the gearset in the tranny.
