i have been thinking about getting a sport 4 wheeler but someone told me you cant jump with a shaft driven 4 wheeler or you will tear apart the shaft. Is this true?

 

Idk for sure, but utility atvs are not designed for jumping and doing it could be consequential, I wouldn't recommend it.

 

Depends on the machine. Some are lighter framed and won't take the abuse. Some are heavy framed and can take it. Neither of these machines had any damage.

I honestly wouldn't feel as confident jumping my present Outlander like I did my previous Sportsman X2. Thing was built like a tank but got pretty good air for it's size and weight.
