Default Working Tires for an 05 Kodiak 450

I have an 05 Kodiak 450 that i use primarily for dragging trees around including steel hills. I need to fit in tight spaces so don't really want a much bigger tire. I also do some trail riding too. Would going to a wider or taller tire help anything?

Factory tire size is:
25-8-12
25-10-12

What would you recommend would be a good tire for my use?

Thanks for your help guys.

Stay the same 25-8-12
25-10-12 just move to a more aggressive taller lug for more traction.

A 25 x10 with a 1-1/8th" lug has more traction then a larger 26x11 tire with a 3/4" lug.

Got any good recommendations for 1-1/8" lug tires?

I like the Mudlite "XL" it is a 1-1/8"

the Mudlite "AT" is a 3/4" lug trail tire
the Mudlite "XXL" is a massive 1-3/4" but its to rough of a ride for trail riding. More for mud only and only starts at 26" tire size I think.
All 3 are 6 ply.

Not real familiar with them but I know people who bought over agressive mud lug and quickly sold them for a more "do it all tire" rather then a pure mud only tire, do to ride quality loss on trails.
The XL is more of a jack of all trades and master of none compromise.

I have the 25" XL on both of my ATVs, so do most people in our group. There about $370 to $400 a set.
