I need a #7670092 circlip for my `02 sportsman 500 front axle. Just curious if anybody has found anything at a local parts store. Checked witha a dealer and came up lacking. Oh yeah, the reply to my disgusted look was he hasn`t needed one for the last 16 months. Like $2 is going to break `em.

 

If you have a good Ace hardware or something similar,you might give it a try. It's just a simple circlip,but has to be the correct size or wont work properly. Hard for dealers to stock all parts,but this is one part all dealers should have a few of in stock at all times.
