Picked up a 1982 yamaha tri moto 175. The carb is missing the float, and needle/seat. This thing is tough to find parts for. I did however locate a carb on eBay that is off of a 1978 dt175 dirt bike. Judging by the pics they appear to be very similar Mikuni carbs. Will it directly fit mine or at least the parts I need from it?

 

I cannot tell you if it will fit or not but usually if you go on ebay and type in your model they will have some sort of replacement carb available. My friend had an old 87? fourtrax and couldn't get the proper carb but they did have one that would work.
