Question How to adjust Carb on Outlaw 450??

More help needed . Valves adjusted and running great now except the smoking for sure is now from being too rich. Usually happens when just putting around and will backfire every now and then when I clear it out with some throttle. My outlaw has stock exhaust on it with the baffle and spark arrester out of it. How do adjust to lean it out? What about removing the lid from the airfilter box?? And for future plans of getting a performance pipe what can I get without rejetting?? I dont have a clue about jets. I dont want to be taking things apart but if its easy Im sure its the better way to go.

THANKS

If you don't have a manual here's one that may help. PartShark.com - Motorcycle Parts, ATV Parts, UTV Parts, PWC Parts, Powersports Apparel, Motorcycle Accessories for OEM and Aftermarket. Plus could be as simple as needling a new needle and seat if you haven't replaced it already or may need float level adjustment. This is trial and error on your part as far as jetting, etc. Uses the same Keihin FCR carb that a lot of dirt bikes use. https://docs.google.com/presentation...nt#slide=id.i0
