07 Polaris Sportsman 800 efi Deluxe WHAT OTHER PRIMARY CLUTCHES CAN I USE
#1
Recently put my 01 500 Sportsman drive clutch on my 07 800. i still have the 07 secondary on but keep blowing belts like crazy. wondering what other year and size primary clutches will fit with ebs

Could be simply the front clutch needs to have the fiber washers replaced on your original clutch or rear clutch may just need to be shimmed out if belt isn't riding center of the one way bearing. Cheaper than replacing clutches.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

The original clutch bit the dust, i replaced it with my old 01 sportsman drive clutch, thats actually a 03 600 primary clutch. It makes all kinds of noises always has, but worse on the 800, i can wiggle it back and forth easily (the drive clutch) My quad also come with a FI dynatek controller as well. would that take play in anything as once i get to about 60 kmh and i ease on the throttle the belt breaks, motor mounts are all a1. id like to find a easier solution then ordering a stock 07 800 clutch. possibly put my secondary off the 01 sportsman on it, im not sure. also would i still be able to put a 800 clutch kit in if im riding with the 01 sportsman drive and driven clutch.

Sounds like you're running a hodge podge of mixed clutches. If you're serious then you might check into the Razr "S" clutches that some guys at our shop tried out. If this isn't what you're looking fore then something along this line. 218875A - Comet 103 HPQ (High Performance Quad) Polaris ATV Clutch | ATV Parts | MFG Supply

For sure could give them a try, i run 28 inch mega mayhems on er iv hurd of guys putting the 800 sportsman clutch on the razor befor. I also would be curious if the 850 drive and driven clutch would work. I have been looking into the comet clutch for about two weeks now, it looks like its the best deal for sure, now is it actually better than stock, has no ebs. Also how would i go about a clutch kit if my primary and driven clutches are out of my 01 500. would i have to get a big tire clutch kit for a 500, or still 800. also is the 800 belt any different than the 600 sportsman belt. sorry about all the questions the dealer ship never tells me anything.

Could have been the problem in the first place on belt wear. This is a little more complicated clutch than a lot of them, easier just to take it off and have it serviced if you don't have the compression tool to take it apart.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
