Hey I know this question appears quite frequently about these machines. I have tested the pulse coil getting 31 ohms, tested the reverse and neutral switch. Removed the cdi. Got a c90 cdi hooked it up w/o the grey reverse wire and still nothing. On the stator there are three wires if I remember correctly there are 2 yellow and one green how do I test this what ohms should I see this and the coil are my last on my list if non of these are gone I'm Gona have to pull the wiring harness apart and test the continuity of the wires.

 

after a while i ohms tested the primary stator coil and it was bad, bought a new one for 16.00 running mint ever since.

 

Is this a record for time between asking and answering your own post? You were lucky to get a coil, we needed an exciter coil a couple of years ago and couldn't get one. I think we got the old one re-wound.
