Default Engine Seized (Hey OPT!) Everything that has happened

Hi guys and OPT,

I was getting ready to take the engine out and decided why not crank it up and see if i can prime the oil. The engine seized up. I started looking at my manual, the oil feed and exhaust was mixed up. This is the entire reason the engine was not running smoothly. So i called the seller up and cancenlled the refund because i didn't want to lie to him and take the refund.

I squirted some penetrating fluid in the spark plug gap and am going to let it sit overnight. Hopefully i can get the piston moving up and down. If so, the oil will actually lubricate the engine. If not, i will have to do some interior work.

History:
Bought a fourwheeler that didn't work for 400$
Got the engine running
Made a loud noise
Piston had been sheared and broken off
Bought a used engine off ebay for 675$
Oil wouldn't get in the engine (Now i know why)
Engine is seized
Piston has lubrication in top that will, hopefully, get into the sides.

What should i do to help get the piston Un-Seized?

Oh, and OPT,

Thanks alot. I'm sure you know everything about my fourwheeler and the history as of now. LOL

All depends on the extent of the damage. If a pistons seizes and locks up,tear it down to inspect it. Expect to at least have a new top end and possibly more if the rod or crank bearing are damaged from lack of oil. Read your manual on the engine section to understand this engine better!!
