Smile Need to Know the compression spec.

First old polaris tech, i would like to thank you for all you do for us with the information and knowledge you provide us with. I would like to know the nor able compression or average for a 2001 Trail Boss 325.

Average compression is only between 70-90 psi depending on how fast the engine turns over during testing. This is because of the cam decompression system. If it's lower than this make sure the valve clearance is .006 intake and exhaust. If it's abnormally high the decompression system or the exhaust lobe could be worn.
