I'm about to have an unused set of Kenda Dominators which I plan to put on my Mojave. Without spending too much money I need to get some 9" rims for the rear, the stock 10" up front will work ok. I'm considering going the cheap route and buying steel wheels, but I'm concerned about the weight difference. I'll be going from Stock Kawasaki Mojave Aluminum rims with Carlisle Stryker 22x11x10 tires. My hope is the steel wheels with the Kenda Dominator tires would weigh somewhere close to the setup I have now, in which case would save me $40, and the rims would be much stronger steel than aluminum. If the steel rims are going to be so overly heavy that it would make a difference, I'll probably spring for the aluminum rims instead. Thanks for any input you have.

my friednd has steel rim on his tri-moto 125 and it doesn't see to rob power. the thing that sucks most about steel rims is rust.
