2002 Sportsman 700

I was changing the plugs when one of the wires broke off and left a tip on the plug. Research says I need this wire: 4010124-66 but everyone tells me they are no longer made.
So what do I use instead? What is the replacement part?

p.s. it’s the left side wire if that matters.

 

You can always get a length of 7mm plug wire and match the plug cap up that will work at a lot of auto supply houses or motorcycle shops. Just my on this though,if you still have the Ducati based ignition, search this or any other forum or just Google 700 Polaris ignition problems and you'll find a lot of ignition failures on the 2002 to early 2004 700s. Thanks OPT. They guy I bought it from said the upgrade has been done already.
I took the quad swimming over th eweekend and I’m just trying to get it back to normal.
I’ll go to the parts store tomorrow for an ignition wire.

Does the wire just pull off on the coil end?

This I can't remember off hand(may be sealed),but you can get a plug wire splicing kit at a lot of auto/cycle stores.NGK Performance Products - Splicers
