Default best tire for my needs?

I need some "real" tires on my honda rincon 680 I need some that will fit without rubbing or need a lift kit. And the type of riding I do is very soft swamp mud, very soft swamp mud in fairly deep water (about to the racks) and trail riding. They need to be light enough to turn them without a gear reduction in peanut butter mud as I call it. And not lose to much power.

The 680 has a lot of low end torque but its mated to a very limited gear ratio tranny 3 speed that's not geared towards the low end of mud riding.

Use this site to compare tire weights but the lightest mud tire made is the Maxxis Zilla.
The zilla has 28" tire that weight almost the same as a 25" ITP Mudlite XL.
Maxxis Zilla
I freaked when I looked into Zilla's and bought 26" on my little 350 Grizzly and noticed no power or speed loss, and they are 6ply and with tall 1.19" mud lugs.

There are two kinds of Maxxis bighorns , and both are not considered a mud tire with their shorter 0.7" to 0.75" lug heights, their more a general trail tire and both weigh more then the Zilla in the same size dimensions.
Even the Maxxis Zilla are not hard core mud tires that is the Maxxis MudZilla's domain with 1.5" lugs.

Im a huge fan of the ITP 589'S 28" on my 800 they have held up very well and clean out in the mud. However they are not making them any more but if I can find a set I will get them for my 550. That being said I have been looking at other options , I like the mud-lites on my 300 4x4, the terminators are very nice in mud and water but my friend is not happy about the hardness of the lugs, they are falling apart riding trails. So for mud they are awesome but for hard pack and trails not good. Another friend has the swamp lites and they are great in both environments, if I cant get the 589s when it comes time I will be getting 28" swamp lites.
Just my $ .02

Good luck

Go with zillas for sure they are the lightest mud tire around as state above and help a lot at breaking and riding comfortably with the extra treads in the center I'm getting them in 26" for a kodiak 400 that I'm getting a couple days
