I have just bought my first 4 wheeler a 1991 Trail boss 350 4x4 2 stroke. If i have to mix the fuel why is there a oil resivor infront of the fuel tank?? From what ive noticed there was oil in it at one time and the line runs down by the crank case but is broke off. So is this something i need to fix right away? Do i need to put oil in that resivor? it does run and drive fine as it is, but i cant say that i have took it out and ran it for a long period of time yet.

Usually when someone disconnects the oil injection system its out of the picture.
Should not run 40:1 plus have oil injection at the same time.
