I'm not sure how a chain "slips" unless the sprocket(s) are very worn. There is nothing wrong with the set-up on the warrior with the exception of the difficult adjustment procedure. Once it is adjusted properly nothing should slip or change. Are the 2 long bolts throught the carrier tight as well as the 2 adjusting bolts on the rear of the carrier??? Can't be anything else that I can think of. Are you adjusting according to the manual which I think is about 1 to 1.5 " of slack as measured in the middle between front and back sprockets? Are you measuring with the suspension comrpressed?

when you get a new chain or sprockets you should always get the kits. Otherwise your stuff that you didnt' replace and it will wear down faster. I just got a white bros chain/sprocket kit and it was about $120. It is worth it though. It came with front and rear sprocket and x-ring chain.

Chain won't stay tight? Are you setting the locking nuts on the chain adjuster? If no, then they will loosen up. If yes, then perhaps your chain is streatching (happens more often when dune riding with paddles).
