Default advice needed on new ATV purchase please.

hello every one, new to the site, I have some quastions about buying a new 4 wheeler. iv never owned a 4 wheeler but when I was a kid I had a couple really old Honda 3 wheelers.
Any way, my funds are limited so i'll be financeing wich is why im planning on a new 4 wheeler. I only know a little about them. mostly just what iv read about in the last couple weefks while looking threw this site and old post ect.
from my reading and my budget im thinking about a Honda trx400, Yamaha raptor 350 or yfz450, or if a Kawasaki 300 brute force.

im 6ft 250lb's so im not sure if the raptor 350 or bruteforce 300 will have enough size or power, I know only a little about the Honda trx400 but iirc from my readuing its supposed to be more simple and reliable "long term use" than the yfz450 wich again from my limited knowledge is for raceing.Whats every ones opinion on these bikers, pro's and cons? my funds for repairs ect will be limited and this will be the only 4wheeler i'll be able to get for 5 years most likely so I need to make a smart choice.

As far as how I plan to ride it, no competitive raceing but I still want some power, I don't need a 100mph ride but I want it to have enough power to be fun, kicking up rooster tails ect. The YFZ450 im sure has pleanty of power but iv read it should not be used for casual slower cruising, I plan to ride fast a lot but I want to be able to cruise around the yard ect and I heard the yfz over heats if rode slowly. is this true and if so is it the same for the Honda 400? is the matanince and repair cost a lot higher on any of these bikes?

would the raptor 350 have enough power for a man my size and is the frame big enough for me to ride comfitable "relatively speaking of course" same with the brute force 300? the honda400 and YFZ450 would be pushing my funds to the limit so that's why im considering the raptor350 and brute 300. but again I don't want something underpowered that i'll get borse rideing easy, yet at the same time I don't need the fastest thing on 4 wheels lol.

sorry for the long post, just a very important purchase for me and I want to get it right. and sorry for gramer and spelling.
any advice would be very much appreciated. thank you.

One of my friends had a Raptor 350 and got bored with it. He replaced it with a Raptor 700 and he's happy with it. I'm not recommending the 700 for you but don't think you'll be satisfied with a 350 either.

ok I went with the 2013 Suzuki z400. they had a 800$ cash back deal ect and I was able to get payments at about 160$ a month wich was the upper Lv I could do. the Honda 400 and yfz450 would have been 200+. hope I got a good quad, I know little about ATV's at this point and nothing about Suzuki. watched a vid of one drag raceing a 700 raptor and it seemed to have good power relatively speaking. should be delivered tomorrow, wish me luck, my first 4 wheeler.

Congrats on the Z. I used to ride with a guy who had one. His only problem was trees jumping out in front of it.
