Default 300ex rev limiter bypass

As i understand the stock cdi. Can be drilled in a specific spot which will allow the rev limiter to be terminated. Has anyone done this and if so dose anyone have detailed instructions to do this? Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
My sons 300ex got 2nd at a MX national. Never hit the rev limiter. Heck, I can't remember him ever hitting it. I've never hit it on my 300ex.
Sorry, I can't tell you how to eliminate the limiter.
Sorry to be nosey, but why would you want to eliminate the limiter?

I have a 330 bore kit , ported and polished head, valve job, hd springs, stage 2 cam with hardened rockers, 400ex carb jetted perfectly, hd clutch, full dg exhaust with many chasis and suspension mods. My power curve supercedes that of stock drastically. My big gun plus1000 cdi recently quit working therefore i want to mod my stock box less spend another 100 on a questionable quality aftermarket
