Counter Balance Oil and how to's

I have a 99 scrambler 400 and I want to do my scheduled maintenance on it, but the maintenance book that came with it sucks. Where are the main spots located on the quad. How do you change counter balance, how do you check the hub oil level? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot fellas.
