hello im having problems wit my linhai. have had it for 2 years wit no problem. than all of a sudden wouldn't start. nxt would start. and hasn't wanted to start since. just cant seem to figure it out. any help wit this would b appreciated thanks

 

Define no start or won't start. Cranks but won't fire up or doesn't crank (starter turns engine over)?

ok, as it cranks, have you checked for spark? i know this may sound silly, but sometimes a new NGK $3 spark plug fixes this before we even have a chance to check out other possible contributing suspects in the ignition system. next, is the spark plug wet with gasoline? is the gasoline making it into the carb and into the jug/cylinder? have you tried cranking it, giving it a small shot of starting fluid in the air filter box and seeing if it tries to start?

 

it has no spark and have tried new spark plugs and tried couple coils but still no spark

 

so, let's test the red slider kill switch. also look behind the keyed ignition and make sure the leads are connected.

 

kill switch started screwin up bout a year ago have it wired together. has power running thru it its workin and lost my keys while ago so had wired up a new key ignition and its workin

 

so do you have power to the coil and then any measurable power out the coil wire? are there cracks in the coil wire or burnt/heated up spots which could be damaged?

 

also check the CDI quick connect as the blades can push back and not make good contact thus killing power to coil.

 

theres power to coil. and no cracks in coil or burnt or heated spots.. buddy of myn used trouble light and cdi has power.we tried a couple diff coils and still had no luck.
