Noticed my right head light on the 05 Kodiak was burnt out on low beam the other day. The left one was good and bright but when I tried the high beams both emitted just a bare glow. Checked the battery ground good and then cleaned up the contacts in the light switch. Anyone have any clues where I should be looking to cure the problem? Thanks.

 

Remove the right headlamp bulb and check if the left one now glows bright on both high and low beam, if it does, a bad earth on the wire to the lamps is probably the cause but a bad connection between the ignition switch and light switch, light switch to dip switch or dip switch to lamps is another possibility.
