i looked in the dirt wheels magazine for last months issue and they a a write up on the cannondale.. they stated that the top speed was 73mph..

 

I wonder if they over estimated it as much as when they "guess-timated" that the Raptor would have to be in the low 80s?

 

im not sure... im just saying what it said in the magazine. they stated that it is runs with and even a bit quicker then the raptor and ds650. i know its fast becuase i had trouble drag racing one up her in PA with my modded banshee. it beat me once and i beat him twice. when i was ther it beat a few piped and stock raptors. im not sure if the riders of the raptors were any good though. but i knew the bike was fast, becuase i rarely have trouble with the raptors in the drags and it gave me trouble. all i can say though,, is that bike is ugly as hell. i would not want it.

 

I love it when Dirt Wheels gets an interview with one the guys from YAmaha or Honda etc, Dirt Wheels will talk to them one month then a month later actually get to test whichever quad it is. I remember the Yamaha guy saying how the Raptor would smoke the DS in a drag by the same amount the DS smokes the 400ex. When the 400ex came out one Honda guy overblew it a bit. What are the Cannondale guys saying? I have not looked at a Dirt Wheels mag in a while.

 

They always put a lower mph reading than us. I think they do some kind of math in order not to get any complain from one whoes quad doesnt reach our reading.
