Manuals say 80% of efi problems are in the wiring harness and not the sensors which I tend to believe since I had to install enough of these harness "kits" from Polaris. These kit were junk and didn't hold up. Most common is the tbap/maf sensor harness that we had to replace the most of with an occasion tps harness kit. Wiring is very thin, wires can rub and have bare spots,or can even be soft feeling and broken internally. Here's kits that are way better than the Polaris ones, wish I had them while I was still working. Only The Best Plus read these "sticky" posts that deal with the 700/800 efi wiring problems and applies to the 500 also.https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...ap-wiring.html
