06 Yamaha Bruin 250, need help please..
#1
I just got a 2006 Yamaha Bruin 250.. I am having a problem getting it started, I can pull start it but it takes awhile. I have drained all the old gas and put non- ethanol gas back in it, new starter, new spark plug and new solenoid.. when it gets hot it will crank with the starter button no problem, why wont it start when it's cold? It does turn over and is firing with the start button just wont bust off... please help.. thanks.. oh and I cleaned the carb. out..

Sounds as if your battery is dead or close to it. Do you have a multimeter to test with? The battery should read 12V+ when the engine is cold, if not then that would explain why its easy to start after its been running because of the stator charging the battery.
