Default What would cause a Yamaha bear tracker to flood

I have a Yamaha bear tracker 04 model and I was wondering what would cause it to flood?

More than likely the needle and seat is bad, allowing gas to overfill the bowl and flooding you out. I had one on my wolverine that seemed to seal when I blew on the gas line, but the shop told me they have to hold better than breath psi to seal. put in a new needle and seat, no more flooding. To save money you could try setting your float higher, but while its apart, why not do the needle and seat, set the float correctly, and be done with it.
