Default '05 arctic cat 650 v2 ticking noise

My atv was running fine yesterday and was quiet, no noise. This morning I started it and it is ticking as if all the valves need adjusting. I pulled covers off front cylinder just to check and all the valves are fine. Any ideas appreciated. OK since I posted this I have pulled both clutches off and changed oil and filter. Used paint strainer to run draining oil through in case and foreign particles. Everything looks fine. Left clutches off and put new oil and filter in and noise still there.

Have you taken compressed air and cleaned out your clutches? Belt dust and dirt will start to make things chatter. Also look for exhaust leaks

Both clutches are still off. Since I posted this I have removed both timing chain tensioners. The left one is completely extended and right one about 1/3 of way extended. Looks like timing chains are the problem. Would you remove motor from chassis and do it on bench or is it easy enough to do in chassis?

FYI you can not do it in the frame. It is impossible to remove the rear cam cover. Motor must come out.
