Front shaft out clock/alignment

I can see how the old style rear drive shafts with the yokes on both ends had to be "clocked" with the other side to keep everything in balance, but how does that effect front drive shafts with cv joints on each side? Guess I'm not following what you're saying? If you're talking about the prop shaft, really doesn't matter on this. You can even see from the parts list, the yokes aren't aligned.http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...13&fveh=128460

Could be intentional by design as it really doesn't matter on this. Where it really matters is if there was another shaft working in unison with this shaft such as what were on the early Sportsmans rear drive shafts that used u joints instead of cv joints. If the yokes weren't "clocked" or timed together as a set on both sides of the transmission, the rear ends could vibrate. I've had people replace u-joints on these old rear drive shafts that didn't pay attention to that and found out the hard way.
