worrior hitting rev limiter
#1
I jus picked up a 95 worrier 350. It had no spark at first. put a stator in it fires right up. Go to throttle up and it hits the rev limiter. Ihave read there are several safety switchs on this machine. brake netural rev. does anyone know how to disable all of them so I can get this thing to run. Or should I be looking towards the cdi part of the system. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks for looking Dave

Try to disconnect the left handle clutch and brake switch an see if this will help you most of the time its the brake switch when it sticks the cdi thinks the parking brake is on an this caused the rev limiter to come on.

It has an e brake plate on the caliper. Yes it starts and idles great just over half throttle rpm starts breaking up. Switched out cdi New stator. Switched coil. Plugged the 2 wires off the clutch together. Checked valve Clarence. I am mechanically inclined but this thing is killing me. Also checked all grounds. Don't know what to check next

My son had a Raptor that did that. It was the reverse light wire had rubbed thru causing the CDI to think it was in reverse . Try it in gear also, may be tied to the netural light.
