Default Yamaha Banshee on trails

Hey guys. In about 1-2 weeks I will be getting a new quad.

I either want a Banshee 350 or a 400ex.
I want to know why the banshee is better then the 400ex or why the 400ex is better then the 350. I am already leaning toward the banshee. But I want to know how they do on trails and woods. That's all I would mostly use it for. But I do want a 2 stroke. :/

400ex is gonna be your best bet for trails if there tight or muddy but banshee for fast open trails handling on the 400ex is superior to the banshee as is the suspension but the banshee would tear the 400ex up in a drag 400ex is pretty bulletproof bet the banshee is gonna be cheaper when they break I manage to move my yfz though suoer tight trails at 30 or 40 so u shouldnt have a problem with width I personally like the feel of the banshee but its a bit heavier than the 400ex good luck lol if u need more info let me know

I'd look at a Raptor as well. The older 660 models are pretty reasonable in price while the 700 has a bit more power and better handling.

See I'm stuck in the middle... I LOVE the feeling of the banshee. But then again I love the feeling of the 400ex. I own property about 1 mile from my house and it all highway. I have to do 55 the entire way. I'm afraid the 400ex wouldn't be able to do it. Bu then again I'm afraid the banshee wouldn't take it. I would be mostly doing fast trails. Some slow ones and some hill climbs.

The banshee would be able to handle 55 for a while idk about the 400ex it's not really a fast quad top speed is probably around 55 60 so ur gonna be pushing it might I suggest the yfz or 450r mainly because they will have no problem doing 55 and plus and have more turque then the banshee for trails and mud but the banshee should have no problems doing what ur doing likewise another option to consider is a raptor 660 u can pick them up cheaper then the banshee and probably be the perfect quad for you as Greg74 posted good luck!

Thanks allot. Tbh, I'm gonna go with a Banshee, YFZ, or a Raptor. But I would prefer the 700.

I love my yfz never had a problem with it and there super fast I have owned a raptor 700 and it was a great atv to but the yfz seems to be more fast past and gives you a rush when you ride it lol hope this helps
