Default Need to add a safety tether to Coolster 110

Just picked up a 2016 Coolster 110 for my daughter. It came pre-wired with a remote control safety shut off but I need to add a rip chord style safety tether for a kids track she will be practicing on, god forbid she falls off. Has anyone ever done this? If so which wires did you tie into? I'd also like to know which brand of switch you used and if you recommend it or found that it was garbage. Thanks in advance.

You can buy one at any motorsports shop. They are around $20 and all work about the same. I would just find the wires for the on off switch and tie it into that

Thanks Zrock. I was reading about one brand called Power Armor which grounds out the signal wire to the coil. Do you happen to know if the coolster kill switch is N.C. or N.O.?

As zrock stated, just tie it into the on/off switch which is close the handlebars, where this tether is mounted. Found one on ebay for a whopping $5.95
