HELP! 2006 Kodiak Won't Turn Over? Not The Relay.
#1
Hi All,
So, I replaced a battery and a starter relay on my Kodiak. When I turn the key there is power(display, lights etc.) However, when I press the starter button, nothing- no clicking- nothing.
When I jump the relay it turns over, however. It can't be the relay as it was the exact same before I replaced it. Any suggestions? I have a voltmeter, also.

Most obvious is a faulty button on the handlebars. Not sure if the Kodiak has a live feed to the start switch or if the switch earths the solenoid, but either way, with ignition on, you should get a voltage across the switch when you press the button.
