ever sence i bought the trailblazer, the breaks have sucked big time! when EVER you try to stop, they pull all the way to the handle bar, and if you pump them, they come back. well, being the genious that i am, i bled them, and took it for a spin. still sucked. so what did i do? i bled um a second time... and a third... for about 3 hours i bled the breaks, took it for a spin, bled the breaks... well, i am getting used to it, but the time is nearing for the trailblazer to find a new home, but she might not get the money she deserves if the breaks are sucky like they are. any suggestions? mabey a punctured line? i took it to the shop to get it fixed, and they said they did. pissed me off when i almost crashed into a tree because they didnt work.

we have owned 5 polarises, and this is the first major problem we have had with any of them. the breaks on our sportsmens are great. the master cylender should be ok, it has been like this sence new, mabey a manufacturing defect... do you think the dealer would still fix it under warentee? how long is the warentee, i cant remember. like i said, we brought it in to get it fixed and all they did was bleed them. our dealer up here is really good, so mabey we can work out a deal. does anyone have any other ideas of what it could be?

My arctic cat was the same way when it was new. I had to pump the brakes to get them to work well. My dealer replaced the master cylinder because it wasn't supplying enough volume which is why i had to pump them to work well. New master cylinder and lever and all is well. She'll throw you off if you are not careful. I tried the bleeding thing too. Didn't help. If you don't have enough volume you won't build any pressure.

When you put new brakes on. Be sure you ADJUST the new pads by turning the adjustment screw in until the pad touches the disc. Then back out the screw a 1/4 of a turn. Then bleed the system!
That may be the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that could be, but it has been doing this sence i bought it. i really hope the dealer will still fix it under warentee. what do you guys think, if you bring in a quad with a manufacturing defect to get it fixed, and they dont, should i be able to still get it repared under warentee? i am kinda a busy guy, and the dealership i work with is only really open on thursdays (they close at 5:30 on the other days, and i live 45 min. away.)
