I took my DS-650 back to the dealer today for the 10 hour checkup. I asked what they do & I asked about valve clearance & adjustment. He said it wasn't nessecary. He is just lazy? I think in the owners manual it says to have it checked right?

It sounds like your dealer is very lazy or just a fraud. The valve adjustment is very important as well as everything else. Look at your owners manual and insist that thay do everything it says. Or maybe you should just take it to another dealer. My first service cost close to $150 and they went above and betond the owners manual. Make sure you keep all records from the service and let them know of any problems. Remember checking on problems is part of warrenty. They should at least look at them for free and inform you before any aditional charges are incurred. Hope you get it taken care of properly. You should notice an increase in power.

Andrew, your dealer is anything other than on the level. I checked my valves at 15 hours and they were ALL tight. Had I kept riding this way I would have burned at least 1 valve. Take your DS to another dealer and report that dealer to bombardier service, the # is in your owners manual.
