i turn the key on and there is no power but if you run from a hot point to another everything works?

 

Welcome to the forums.Eliminate the basics such as the battery itself. Make sure it passes a load test plus check all connections and grounds.Unplug the speedo harness,wait a couple minutes and plug it back in. Plus another common problem was the connectors on the left control switch not allowing power to the dash. Clean the pins and connectors with electrical spray and use some electrical grease and see if power is restored.
