Default Need help with Suzuki Ozark clutch slipping, tried to adjust

I bought a used Ozark and the clutch is slipping. I tightened the adjustment screw until there was resistance and then backed off a touch, but it still slips. I tried to screw a bit more and the result was much more slippage. If I tighten even more, the quad won't move. So, I re-adjusted it to where it will run, but slips quite a bit. So, adjusting does not seem to be working. What is my next move? I imagine I may have to replace the clutch plates. I found a manual online, but they start mentioning this procedure when the motor has been yanked from the quad. Can someone advise me on how best to proceed? Thanks.

I haven't done an Ozark, but would be surprised if the engine needs to come out. On all manual boxes that I've come across, you remove footwell plastic, foot peg, foot brake lever, and the clutch cover. Follow the manual from there. Don't assume it is the multiplate clutch, check the centrifugal one first, if the shoes are not worn down to the metal it is OK, so the fault will be in the multiplate one.
