I need to find/locate VIN number on a Polaris 4x4 magnum 425.

 

Right front frame down tube. 7 digit serial number on the rear of the down tube. Should be a plate or etched model number on the front such as W95,96,etc denoting the year model. If that's missing look on the engine serial number sticker if it's still on the recoil. First two digits is the year model.

 

I didn't see the number on the frame . but I found the sticker with serial number on the starter housing- 98 model. Thanks! PS- how about tips on rebuilding the carb? I would like to do a complete service on this unit, is there a guide to doing this? Thanks again!
