Default Tao Tao Starter

I have a small kids Tao Tao and when I turn the key over the starter engages without pushing the button. It starts and the starter continues to spin. I have gone through the wiring and everything looks good and is connected. I have also checked the key switch and its good.
I cannot figure it out.
Any Ideas?

Either the wiring to the solenoid isn't "good" or the start button is stuck down and allowing current through all the time the ignition is on. There are two different set ups for a solenoid. On one type a wire comes direct from earth to one of the thin solenoid wires, and the other thin wire goes to the start button. On the other side of start button, a wire goes to ignition switch.

The other way of wiring, is for the ignition live wire to go direct to the solenoid, and other thin wire from solenoid to go to the start button, which is earthed, so connects the earth to the solenoid when pressed.
