Default 2000 Polaris Xplorer 4

I recently ordered a bearing kit for my 2000 Xplorer. The kit came with two bearings but they were for the outer hub. I am searching for the numbers for the bearing or bearings that go inside of the strut knuckle. (I don't recall if there were one or two?) I took it apart a long time ago. I hope to be able to run down to the parts store in the am to get what I need. I would have looked on the bearings for a number but they were demolished. Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that you used some language that isn't allowed on the forum, but I can think of other reasons too. Also, there's no reason to post the same thing twice.

Didn't mean to post the same thing twice. I posted again with a different title and it still did the spam thing. Now, can someone delete the other thread?

Don't work on Polaris, but a check of the on-line parts books should show you what you need.

Regarding the spam thing, it is a weird and arbitrary system. I once used the word wiggle (but starting with n instead of w) and the system had apoplexy. However a couple of weeks ago someone posted using quite crude language, and it let that through.

We were flooded with people making fake accounts, and making replies that were selling everything from shoes to phones. We blocked certain words, mainly the ones they were using, and for the most part they went away.

So depending on what word you used, that would be why is says spam.

Got it taken care of.

Also took out the spam part on this title.

You can use a site like this to find the part # you need. Once you have the numbers, you can shop around for the best price.

You need two(2) 3554509 bearings,two(2) 3554507 races for the strut. Part numbers 10,11. You can probably save some bucks by matching the physical number up on the bearing itself at a local auto store or bearing house on these Timken style bearings.

Thanks for the replys! Like always, thanks OPT for the quick response with the correct numbers. I actually found the numbers last night late, but didn't get to post about it. I appreciate the info because now I know that I have the right numbers. I will update on how the fix goes. I do have another question though. I pulled out the 4x4 wire on my old knuckle. So, I ordered a used assembly off ebay but the shock is black. The shock on my old unit is green. Are they sprung the same?
