420 rancher vs foreman 500 reliability

Hey fellers I'm in the market for a new Honda 4x4 and I've narrowed it down to the 420 rancher or 500 foreman. They both would suit me fine I'm just wondering which motor would hold up better long term. Thanks in advance

Both engines are very similar and we have had few problems with the one on the 420. For some reason, we have not sold many post 2012 500s, but no problems with any so far.
