99 Polaris 300 xpress

Any help would be nice I have a 99 300 Polaris Xpress supposed to be bored 20 over I was writing it about 3 weeks ago and it just died it's getting spark carburetors clean I have the top-end off now piston and rings are good moving accordingly don't know what else to do any help would be great

Pleeez use a period every now and then so old guys like me can comprehend.. First off you should have checked compression in addition to checking for spark,fuel,etc. If you reassemble with the old head gasket doubt if you'll get a true reading,BUT do it. If it's lower than 90 psi then something's wrong with that 020 over top end. IF it has decent compression,a leaking or popped out crank seal(clutch side) can stop one dead in it's tracks.

To make any kind of a fire you need fuel, air, and an ignition source, whether it's a campfire or any other kind of fire. An engine needs those same 3 things to run, plus compression. You're just not going to get ignition and a full burn without good compression.
