2004 400ex
Just bought my first bike and have a few questions first off my headlights will turn on when I hit a bump but turn off right after and continue to do this the whole time I have them on what should I check first?? Also I’ve been told my bike might be bored to a 440 how can I tell? It seems more powerful than a stock 400 but is there anyway I can tell without tearing it apart?

So first off, just check the voltage of your battery. If the battery is over charged, things like this can happen. If you have a 15 V battery it should be around 14V normal and around 16V while running. If thats all normal, try checking all of the connection.
Second, no, there is no good way I know of to know if it was bored or not. You'd probably have to check but there should be a decent power difference.
