Default 2004 rancher at vs. 2004 bruin

OK I have a 2002 sp700 and have to sell it to pay for my truck and I am going to finace another one.

I need some info on these two quads.
I can get the rancher AT for 5200 and the bruin for 4200.
which one has better acceleration?
which one has a higher top speed? what are the speeds.
which one is better in mud and water.
also where is the highest point of the air intake.

I will be riding with a polaris 400 and 700 so which would be better for power and ground clearence.
I know that both don't have high and low, but I like the fact that I can switch to esp for lower gears one the rancher.

Please help me if you can, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I have an AT and really like it. Fits me well for how I ride. I imagine the Bruin is a nice machine but I believe that there are a lot of little things missing. Speedometer, 12 volt plug, odometer. Nothing to affect the ride or power, but items you may one wish you had on your quad. Thus the difference of $1000.00. I have never used my 12 volt plug yet, but at least with the AT I have the option.
AT top speed 53-55MPH
4 wheel drive the AT is very good, same as any other Honda
EBS is amazing, it will hold you to 3 mph going down hills while never touching the brakes
ESP is a fun option to have when you really want to play around.
Intake is fairly high, slightly above the fenders
Better Acceleration- Can't help ya. never seen a bruin off the showroom floor. I imagine they are pretty equal. Maybe a slight edge to the AT for the more cc's.
Good Luck, ride it then buy it.

thanks for the info yoda. did you finance or what, if so how long will it take you to pay it off.
Have you had it in any mud yet if so does all four wheels pull or just three when in 4wd, and is it powerful or just enough power to get you through.

any other info would be appreciated.

I financed it,payments for 60 months(although I hope to pay it off this spring). Decent in the mud, but I'm not a real mudder. 3 or 4 wheels pulling? I can't really tell but I have never been stuck. If you are going to be in mud you want to be in ESP mode, gives you a little more confindence going thru. Auto mode always feels like it give you just enough power, I didn't like it at first, but when I tried ESP mode I found that I could not go any faster in any situation than with the auto(except in mud).

Both of the atv's your looking at are 3 wheel drive. Not saying thats bad if you get stuck it's a lot better than 2.
