Needing a headlight bulb for 2012 Honda 250x, I found oem and they cost like $40 for just bulb. Are there others that fit even with mod?

 

I suspect the two headlights on the Honda 500fm of about 2012 will use the same bulb fittings although the bulbs are slightly lower in wattage (30/30w). Even they are $20 each. May be worth checking with your local Honda dealer, the same part, when used on a different model, gets a different part number and price.

 

thx, I looked at housing, the 250x is straight housing, compared to 90degree on the 500fm
may sill get it to work, do you know know how many leads are inside for plug?

 

Take a look at the 350FM then, I think that may have the straight connection. All have three wires (main, dipped, and earth) except for the central light on the 500, which may have two wires (not sure).
