Hello,

I put it in reverse to turn around on a recent trip and it now won't go forward. The shifter will move but the transmission seems to be stuck in reverse. I see this has happened to a few others but don't see any remedies. Any advice that someone could provide will be appreciated.

 

The older Cats used a cable to shift Fwd to Rev. Check if it's either broken or loose. I had to replace it on my 2001 AC 500. In 2002, they went to a shift rod, much better. If it's not that, could be a bent shift fork, think that is rare, though. You may have to take the front plastics off to access.
