Default What is this part? Sorry I'm a novice

found this tube disconnected on both ends and bouncing around inside the front fenders.

What is this circled part?
I have this part that is above the engine. It has one hose running to it from the bottom of the engine. Another smaller hose runs from the top of the engine (where the carb comes in), and then another tube coming in on the top of this mystery part, but it's broken off and I don't know what it is. It seems like it might be some sort of air cooling system, but I don't know. The atv is a 2007 tomoto / redcat 70cc. Thanks

The Honda 90 has a rather similar set up, which is for the engine breather. However a breather pipe going into the head there would probably be below oil level. New Honda Recons have a strange pipework and vacuum valve set up connected to the cylinder head, which is apparently to reduce emissions, but the only one I have worked on had the whole thing disconnected, and ran fine without it.

Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely related to air. When that top pipe is disconnected, I can see / feel air moving in and out of the hole. Seems to run fine without it. Thanks
