Does anybody know of any company that makes after-market plastic for the polaris? The reason I ask is that I will be getting a new explorer in the spring and my friends that I ride with also have Explores I wanted to get some different colored plastic for the explorer if it was quality plastic and not some cheap aftermarket stuff?? It would be real nice if polaris offered a different color for the exp instead of just green. I really thought they would change the color of the 2000 model.

I wanted to know the same thing, but I found that only hot seat had plastic and it was only for the sport/scrambler line. Maybe somebody out there will have some cool plastics to be different

OEM from a dealer is your only option at this point. Hot Seat sells plastic for the Sport/Scramblers, but they just get it from Polaris. One good thing though is that Polaris plastic tends to be cheaper than most other manufacturers, like $180 for a complete Sport set, as opposed to $300+ for a Banshee OEM set.

Can you get it painted? I have seen pics of ATV's painted different colors. Not sure of the cost? I know it is not to expensive to paint a snowmobile.

Why would he do that? He must have really hated the color of his Sportsman?

Thanks for the help. Kagey that blue sportsman would be pretty cool to see. The hard part with the exp is that headlight assembly on the handlebars. All of the polarises don't have that. But I guess the Diesel plastic would fit on a Explorer...I'll have to check that out. Does anybody knot the cost of the Decals For the polarises???

Just thought I would correct myself the 500 that had the blue plastic put on it was an explorer 500 . He changed the decals to sportsman decals . There was no headlight pod plastic to worry about.
