Rebuilding the top end on my dads 2001 Suzuki 250 quadrunner Cylinder needs board and a new piston, after pulling the head i found intake valve and seat is damaged so I plan on pulling a head off a parts bike I have but while looking at parts through Suzuki I noticed they list two different heads and cylinders in there book for the 250 quad runner so does anyone know what the difference is between the 2?

 

Anyone know if a 300 cylinder (280cc) with fit the cases of a 250 (246cc) , both use 72mm stroke I have an extra 300 engine I'll take apart if no one has an answer
